A high chair usually consists of a frame of molded plastic or metal tubing and an attached seat with a safety belt and a footrest. There are still a few old-fashioned wooden high chairs out there with a removable tray or arms that lift the tray over a baby's head, although they aren't always as comfortable for babies as the modern, form-fitting models on the market now, and most of them aren't certified as meeting the latest safety standards. You'll also find a few hybrid units, which can double as a swing or convert into other types of gear, such as a chair for an older child or a play table.
Second item you will need to consider when purchasing a chair is space that is available in your home. Some booster seats can attach right to your already kitchen chairs and others will need its own space at the table. If you have a small dining room than typically you will want a booster chair that can fit in one of your chairs already. If you have room or don't have any extra dining room table chairs that are available consider a baby high chair. Both are great but it all depends on what you have to work with.
Aside from some certain chairs in our house, most of our chair sitting time is spent on Office Chairs. This is one area of chair design and functionality that has come into its own over the last few years. Manufacturers are realizing that people want office chairs that provide comfort all day long and will not send you home with a back ache. Or perhaps you are concerned about the comfort of your clients that visit your office. Office chairs, although they don't always look like it has been designed with comfort in mind. Even if sitting for 2-3 hours in this chair, your body will love you. A good office chair should not be overlooked as an essential piece of equipment to not only your work but your well being.
